About the Artist

Victoria Stillman is a self-taught, multidisciplinary artist based out of Chester County, Pennsylvania.

Her pieces seek to capture the importance of viewing your personal world through a lens of awe and wonder. With a strong appreciation for portraiture and natural elements, Stillman shares snapshots of mundane beauty - tender displays of humanity, a particularly striking view on a morning walk. Having experience in multiple forms of media, Stillman’s collection of work boasts versatility, each piece unique in the style that best fits that particular subject or mood.

Commissions make up a large part of Stillman’s portfolio. Utilizing her strong background in portraiture, she was commissioned by the Shady Rest Country Club located in Scotch Plains, NJ to create 11 large-scale oil paintings commemorating a selection of the musicians that performed there in the early 1900s. This collection of portraits aims to capture the energy and vibrancy of these performers and celebrate the historic and cultural value of the club.

When she’s not creating new pieces, Stillman loves trying and learning new hobbies, such as crochet and mosaic art, and spending time outdoors. Experiencing as much life as possible is an integral part of her creative process, drawing from the belief that inspiration can be found anywhere if you take the time to look for it.
